Senior Support Workers - Treetops

30HRS PER WEEK
£11.66 per hour (£18,189.00 + benefits - FTE: £21,827.52)

Treetops is a six bed residential home providing short breaks for disabled young people up to the age of 18. As a Senior Support Worker you will lead the team to provide care and fun leisure opportunities for the young people visiting Treetops.

We are looking to recruit a Senior Support Worker to work shifts that will include mornings/evenings/split shifts/weekend work, on an annualised hours contract. The role will also include keyworking duties, so you must be IT literate, confident using Microsoft Word and Outlook, and have excellent written communication skills.

We require someone who has experience and confidence in:

  • Working with children with disabilities
  • Administering medication
  • Leading and motivating a team

The role includes enabling our young people to access the community, it is also essential you are a driver, and ideally have a D1 on your license.
You must hold a relevant level 3 qualification (e.g. NVQ Health and Social Care).


All successful applicants will be subject to a DBS at enhanced level, two references and an Occupational Health check.

The successful applicant will be subject to a DBS at enhanced level, two references and an Occupational Health check. After a six month probationary period you will be entitled to six weeks annual leave and pension benefits after 3 months
