The Paediatric Therapy Service comprises of advanced specialist physiotherapists, occupational therapists and speech and language therapists who provide on-site therapy for babies and children under the age of 5 with a diagnosis of cerebral palsy or similar neurological conditions with motor disabilities.
Commissioned by the NHS, the team provides child centred, family focused therapeutic intervention with the aim of every child reaching their potential to function, actively participate and enjoy a healthy life.
Using specialist assessments and careful selection from a variety of different therapeutic approaches, individualised treatment is provided one to one, in groups and in a variety of on site settings including our gym, sensory room, outside play area, hydrotherapy pool and nursery.
All our therapists are registered with the HCPC and have extensive training and experience. Supported by two therapy assistants, the team are dedicated to supporting babies, children and their families towards a brighter future.
"The service you provide for all the children and families passing through White Lodge is absolutely fantastic and a wonderful model for anyone working in neuro-disability" Kate Irwin External Paediatrician.
