Super Sensory Ways to chalk up Kms

Clocking up kilometres isn’t the only way you can take part in At Home Winter Wonderwheels this autumn. Oh no. Just as Spider-Man uses his ‘spidey senses’, we know some of you may prefer use your own unique super senses towards your At Home goal.

That’s why we’ve united with our awesome Charity Friend Strong Bones to come up with some ingeniously inventive ways to unleash your sensory superpowers!

The below list is just a few super suggestions. Feel free to come up with your own Super Sensory challenge and simply convert your sensory achievements into kilometres to add to your SUPER team’s round-the-world target!

Burst that Bubble - For this fun challenge you can blow or pop bubbles! Each bubble blown or popped (which can be popped by yourself or by looking at or saying which one you want popped) is one kilometre towards your super goal!

The Sniff/Taste Test - Can you identify five or more super smells or tastes? Each one correctly identified – either by name or by pointing/touching/looking at/matching up with pictures – is one more kilometre in the bag! (Some tasty ideas: chocolate, yogurt, honey, ice cream, jelly, mushy peas, curry sauce)

Super Sounds - Ask your Superhero to prick up their ears and detect familiar sounds from around the home! This could be anything from a kettle boiling and clock ticking to a microwave pinging and a vacuum cleaner cleaning! Every right answer is, you’ve guessed it, one kilometre clocked up towards your total!

The Magic Touch - How many objects can you identify through touch alone? Why not try the touch test with water, sand, a hairbrush, sponge, feathers and more, and each accurate answer will superpower you one kilometre further around the world!

Spot the Singer - Do you know your Supergrass from your Super Furry Animals? Spot which musical artist is playing by pointing, saying or looking at the correct singer or band photo and that’s one more kilometre for the team!
