In 2018 we want to take White Lodge Centre to our community by raising more awareness about who we are, where we are and what we do. To achieve this we are looking to build a bank of enthusiastic volunteers who can represent White Lodge Centre at local fairs, fetes and other fundraising events. We will need people to help us set up and run promotional stalls, people to hold a bucket at a collection and also cheer and encourage our brave participants in events like the london Marathon or Ride London Bike ride. We'll supply the promotional T-shirts and materials but we need manpower to help deliver our presence. We don't expect you to commit to all events but attendance of a handful of events would make such a difference. Once you are on the bank of volunteers we'll contact you regularly to let you know what events we need help with. It's fun and you don't need to commit regularly.
Have you got what it takes to talk about our work to a group of people? You could also help when we are exhbiting promotional stalls at local events as your ability to talk about our work to individuals will be so helpful. Full training will be provided to help you learn our key messages and topical activities. This team will play an important role as look to grow awareness and support in the community.

Little Stars is a group for families with children aged 0-5 with additional needs. We are looking for enthusiastic volunteers to help run these sessions. Volunteers would be expected to help set up/clear away, offer refreshments and prepare a simple lunch. Chatting with the families, offering advice and support is also a vital part of the role – sometimes all that is required is a listening ear. We also have access to the onsite hydrotherapy pool and volunteers may also be required to assist with the swimming session.
