Adult Day Activities Assistant

Salary: £12,636.00 (FTE £18,195.84; £9.72/hr)
Permanent Part Time - 25 Hours per week, 10.30am – 3.30pm Monday to Friday 

White Lodge is a charity providing a range of services for disabled children, young people and adults. We recognise that everyone is different and our focus is to offer the activities and opportunities that are required. Our highly skilled, experienced and passionate staff ensure that with support and encouragement people are able to achieve their goals.

We are looking for an Adult Day Activities Assistant to join our team at Rendezvous, our adult centre, supporting disabled adults to achieve personal goals through planned activity programmes. The role includes facilitating various activities such as music, cookery, discussion groups, and supporting individuals with personal care needs as necessary.

Ideally, you will already have a relevant NVQ 2 qualification in Health & Social Care or equivalent or are willing to work towards achieving this. A full driving licence with D1 entitlement is desirable for this role.

The successful applicant will be subject to a Disclosure and Baring Service check at enhanced level, two references and an Occupational Health check. After a 6 months’ probationary period you will be entitled to six weeks’ annual leave equivalent and pension benefits after 3 months.
