After School Club - Deputy Supervisor

Salary: £11.59 per hour - FTE £17,484.48 (Pro-rata £2,406.61)
Hours: 38 week contract, working Mondays and Thursdays (term time only) from 3pm til 6pm

White Lodge Centre supports disabled children, young people and adults, families and carers in Surrey and the surrounding areas.

We are looking for an exceptional Deputy Supervisor to have joint responsibility of our After School Club (MASC). MASC runs at Manor Mead School in Shepperton (Surrey) on a Monday and Thursday evening from 3pm til 6pm, term time only.  The Deputy will need to be available to support the delivery of each session.
As the Deputy Supervisor, you must have

  • NVQ (or equivalent) Level 2/3 in a childcare relevant subjects (i.e. Child Care and Education, Health and Social Care etc.)
  • Knowledge of OFSTED regulations and inspections
  • Experience of working with children with disabilities
  • Enthusiasm to develop the role
  • Ability to plan age appropriate activities

The successful applicant will be subject to a Disclosure and Barring Service check at an enhanced level, two references and an Occupational Health check. After a 6 month probationary period you will be entitled to six weeks annual leave and pension benefits after 3 months.
