A BANK WAKING NIGHT SUPPORT WORKER
Nightshifts are 10 hours, beginning at 9.15pm and ending at 7.15am
Salary: £11.22 per hour
Treetops provides short breaks for disabled young people up to the age of 18. We are looking to recruit support workers to work nightshifts when our contracted staff are on annual leave and to pick up shifts on a bank basis. Full training and the opportunity to shadow current staff will be offered.
It is essential that all applicants hold or are working towards a relevant level 3 qualification (e.g. NVQ level 3 in Health and Social Care, Workforce Diploma, NNEB, CACHE). The successful applicant must be able to attend mandatory training courses and Induction Standards training and be a minimum of 21 years of age.
The support worker will work with a waking night senior support worker to provide care and support to the young people staying at Treetops overnight. The senior support worker has overall responsibility for the management of the shift, and ensuring that the young people’s needs are met.
It is essential that the successful candidate has the following attributes:
Successful candidates will be subject to a Disclosure and Barring Service check at an enhanced level, two references and an Occupational Health check.
