Deputy to the Registered Manager of Treetops

Salary £26,208.00 + Benefits

Full time contract – some shift work will be expected

Treetops is a six bed residential home providing short breaks for disabled young people up to the age of 18.

It is essential you hold a full driving license, a relevant level 3 qualification (e.g. NVQ level 3 in Health and Social Care, Work Diploma, NNEB, CACHE) and have four years’ proven experience of working within this field in a managerial or supervisory role. The successful applicant must be able to attend mandatory training courses and Induction Standards training and be a minimum of 21 years of age.

Brief summary of tasks:

  • Support the Registered Manager in all tasks to provide the smooth day to day running of the home
  • To consistently model best practices by leading and motivating the staff team as a Senior Support member on a number of flexible shifts
  • Work with families and other professionals to provide a coordinated service e.g. attend Referral and Planning meetings, reviews, Team Around the Child meetings and visit other services used by the families
  • To ensure that all children meet their full potential

The successful applicant will be subject to a DBS at enhanced level, two references and an Occupational Health check. After a six  month probationary period you will be entitled to six weeks annual leave equivalent and pension benefits after 3 months.
