The White Lodge Children's Therapy Team are pleased to offer a one-day course, intended to expand and consolidate knowledge of current research, assessment, medical, surgical and therapeutic management options for children and adolescents presenting with dyskinesia.
The course will be of benefit to paediatricians, paediatric neurologists and neuro-disability physicians, paediatric physiotherapists and occupational therapists based both in community and hospital settings.
The programme for the day will include presentations and current research on the following topics:
- Pathophysiology and classification
- Differential diagnosis
- Physiology of CP muscle
- Medical and surgical interventions
- Physiotherapy and Occupational Therapy management
- Psychological implications
