Location: Spinnaker Tower, Portsmouth.
An exhilarating 100-meter descent down one of Portsmouth's most iconic landmarks, providing breathtaking views and an unforgettable experience. No matter what your level of fitness or experience, this challenge is for anyone wishing to face their fears.
Important information
- Each abseiler must be 14 yrs or over and anyone under the age of 18 must have a parent of guardian present to sign.
- Each abseiler must weigh less than 120kg/18 st
- The abseil is not suitable for anyone who is not pregnant.
- You will not be able to participate if the team believe you are under the influence of alcohol or any substances, whether legal or illegal.
- You must be capable of taking part in the abseil unaided.
- This activity is not recommended for anyone with vertigo.
- Abseils will take place in most weather conditions but could be postponed in the event of highwinds, lightning, heavy snow or ice.
- You should wear enclosed toed footwear with flat rubber soles, such as trainers.
- All safety equipment is provided and a full safety briefing and instructions will be given on the day. You do not need any prior experience.
As with all our challenges, upon registration you'll be connected with our Events Fundraiser Carol, who'll support you with your fundraising journey and on the day itself.
Option A: You pay £25 registration fee and commit to raising a minimum of £350 per person for White Lodge
Option B: You pay £110 upfront for your jump and raise as much sponsorship as you can for White Lodge. There is no minimum fundraising target with this option.
