About the service
For over 60 years, Children’s Therapy at White Lodge has supported babies and young children with cerebral palsy and complex neurodevelopmental conditions.
The service provided specialist:
- Physiotherapy
- Occupational Therapy
- Speech and Language Therapy
Delivered by a highly skilled, multidisciplinary team, therapy was tailored to each child and delivered across a range of settings to support development, independence, and quality of life.
What has changed
The NHS Children’s Therapy service is now delivered by Surrey Child and Family Health (HCRG Care Group) as part of a county-wide model commissioned by NHS Surrey Heartlands.
This was a commissioning decision made by the NHS.
White Lodge continues to provide a wide range of other services for children, young people and adults with disabilities and their families.
