Support Worker in Adult Services

We are looking for enthusiastic and reliable volunteers, Monday to Friday, to help our staff team support adults with a range of disabilities.

Tasks include a variety of activities, such as cookery, discussion groups, arts and crafts, and music. At times, you may be asked to run a session for short periods if the staff member is called away.

Ideally, we need people willing to help with personal care and assist with lunch, but this is not essential.

Please note: All candidates must undergo an Enhanced DBS check. Please let us know if you're on the DBS update service in your application.

18-25's Weekend Service

We are looking for reliable and enthusiastic volunteers to support young adults with physical disabilities, neurological conditions, and/or learning disabilities in our weekend provision.

Tasks include facilitating a variety of activities for young people, both on-site and in the community. Ideally, we need people willing to help with personal care and lunch, but this is not essential. Someone with a D1 driving license who is willing to drive our young people on community trips would be an added bonus.

Please note: All candidates must undergo an Enhanced DBS check. Please let us know if you're on the DBS update service in your application.

Fundraising Events Volunteer

We want to take White Lodge to our community by raising greater awareness of who we are, where we are, and what we do. To achieve this, we are looking to build a bank of enthusiastic volunteers to represent White Lodge at local fairs, fetes, and fundraising events.

Tasks include setting up and running promotional stalls, holding a bucket for collections, and cheering on participants in events like the London Marathon or the Superhero Tri.

We'll supply the promotional T-shirts and materials, but we need people to help make our presence felt. We don't expect you to commit to all events; attending a handful would make a big difference. Once you are on the bank of volunteers, we'll contact you regularly to let you know what events we need help with. It's fun, and you don't need to commit regularly.

Help Turn Loose Change into Life-Changing Support

A single collection can in a local shop or business raises an average of £41 in loose change.

We're looking for volunteers to help grow our network of collection cans across the community. Help White Lodge raise essential funds and introduce more people to what we do by getting involved.

If you can spare a little time to place 10–20 collection cans in the local area, swap them over when they're full, and return them to White Lodge two or three times each year, we'd love to welcome you to the team.
